Automatically Turn Evernote to Tasks and Projects

Connect IQTELL to Evernote
wrote this on May 14, 2014 / 5 comments

We just released a key enhancement to our integration with Evernote.  By simply tagging an Evernote, you can automatically create Actions, Projects and more in IQTELL.

This works on any Evernote platform that you are on: desktop, web or mobile device.  Just tag your Evernote and we’ll do everything else.

For example, perhaps you did some research and web-clipped a website.  If you want to create an action in IQTELL, just tag the Evernote with the tag “Action”.  An IQTELL action will automatically be created which will be linked to your Evernote.

There’s more!  Ever use check-boxes in your Evernote notes?  You can create a note for a project and use the check-boxes for high-level task description.  Just tag this note as a “Project”, and automatically an IQTELL Project will be created along with the related Tasks in IQTELL.

What else?  Reminders set in Evernote will sync to IQTELL and vice-versa.

There’s a whole lot more, Learn More Here.  Also, stay tuned for a new video to be released on the IQTELL YouTube Channel.

These new features are in addition to what you can do in IQTELL: when you sync Evernote to the IQTELL Web App, you can manage all your Evernote Notebooks, Notes, & Tags.

BTW – Evernote integration is now available on our IQTELL Android App.  Coming soon to our iOS App…

    This is fantastic!!

It’s a pity though that plain text included inside an EN doesn’t show up in the Notes section of the IQtell item. I mean it seem quite obvious that the EN “note” would translated into the “note” in IQtell, and not just appear as a link to the EN item.

    Keep up the good work!

This is possible. New users have this set up already. I think you have an older account, so we have to set it up.

Skype me if you’d like to do it

This sounds really great and could solve my problem about recurring parameterized projects (“templates”). After the sync/import to IQTELL is done, can I delete the corresponding Evernote entry?

I’d recommend to give it a try to ensure it functions as you expect. Obviously, deleting the Evernote will delete the originating Evernote from IQTELL

    Dear Sahaf,
First of all, thank you for the great product development with IQTELL, it is all really amazing. This new feature has proven very useful for me as well.

I have one question though: I am using mobile Evernote to create notes and actions for existing projects. Is there a way to tag an EN note which will not create a new project on IQTELL, but link it to an existing project?

This way my actions and projects could really be fully synced between the two platforms.
    Best regards,
    Aron
