This week’s Productivity App hack is about our latest release.  Not quite a hack, but useful information nonetheless!  Of course, the features and fixes in every release IQTELL’s Productivity a[[ are coming from you, so thanks! I am not going to mention all the fixes and enhancements, but let’s focus on two cool features.

Configuring the Next Action Panel

Many of you asked for a way to configure your Next Action Panel.  Some wanted to add “Time Needed” while others wanted to remove “Context”.  There were countless requests and combinations.  Now you are in control.  Just click the gear icon highlighted below.

Cool! Thank you for implementing this.

I am afraid something is broken there, I was just clicking at the gear button to add “area” to the next action list, but it seems therer is only a subset of the possible columns shown in the “available” list.

I don’t have the “Time Needed” column available as an option in the ‘Next Action’ configuration dialog. Any thoughts why?

I found this looking for more information on using the Time Needed field. I was able to add it as a column in my Actions view, but I don’t see the referenced option to add it to my Next Actions/Dashboard view. I don’t understand the reference below to and actions sub folder. Thanks

Is there a time tracking function? So can see what team members estimated vs time actually spent? Also is there an individual team members capacity? i.e.: 4 days for a project: so can see if tasks assigned exceed that persons capacity to complete? Cheers
