We rolled out a major update to all of our users this past week, and now is a great time to highlight some of the coolest new features. Thanks to our Early Beta users who are continuously helping improve IQTELL. Special Note – to everyone who has been waiting to Get Things Done with IQTELL – our GTD® release is here, read below!
#1 A Special Gift for our GTD (Getting Things Done) Users – A Customized Workspace
We’ve had many requests for more built-in GTD features, and we’ve listened! If you are not familiar with David Allen’s method of GTD, then this is a perfect opportunity to learn how to organize your GTD workflow. GTD is a fantastic system that helps you manage your life, be more productive, and keep a low stress level. Here’s just some of what’s available in the pre-configured GTD workspace:
a. Actions
Help manage all of your ongoing “stuff” by managing your actions. Create a new action wherever you are in your workspace, either from another entry in your workspace or directly from the EZ Bar. Include contexts, priority, time and energy needed, and other notes in your actions to really be organized! You can add unlimited context, fields, and additional information you’d like to capture!
b. Projects
Here you can keep track of information related to each of your active projects, including related notes, actions, phone calls & meetings, and support material. It’s a great way to get an easy overview of what you are currently working on.
c. Tickler
Being able to put something on the backburner is very useful. Items that are placed in your Tickler application can be set to remind you by text message or email, and can also appear on your Calendar.
d. Someday
It is great to keep a list of things that you might want to do at some point, but are too busy to do at the moment. Add contacts, files and websites to your Someday item for future reference.
#2 Drag & Drop
You’ve asked for it, and we’ve delivered. You can now easily drag and drop items between your workspace folders. You can even drag and drop emails directly into your Actions or Tasks folders (or any IQTELL folder).
#3 Inline Editing
In the latest and greatest version of IQTELL, we’ve introduced a neat trick to quickly edit anything in your IQTELL Workspace. Just click and start editing, you can edit text, dates and statuses using this great feature!
#4 Email signatures
Create signatures that will be applied to all of your outgoing e-mails. Click on the downward arrow in the top right corner of your workspace and select “My Account”. Use the formatting tools to change the font type, size and other elements of your signature. You can even set unique signatures for each of your email accounts.
#5 IQTELL on the Go!
Our development team has been hard at work creating mobile applications so you can access your data on any device. Our iOS and Android applications are still in beta, but if you’d like to test them out, get in touch with us: team@iqtell.com.
We’d appreciate any suggestions for features to work on, just let us know!
